Event Planning
The Briarhurst Manor is a historic mansion nestled at the base
of Pikes Peak in the heart of Manitou Springs.
No Site or Room fees for most Events!
The Briarhurst Manor offers you the following:

additional charge. Podium and microphone can also be provided
at NO additional charge. |

Variable Bartender, Set-up and Clean-up
and Planning / Coordinator Fees are applied depending on group

Menus
For the menu, there are several suggested options:
For groups of 35 persons or less:
Guests could order from our a la carte menu or "Mini Menu".
Guests can have a limited a la carte menu. With this option the
host could pre-set a soup and / or salad, choose two or three main
courses from our a la carte menu, and pre-set a dessert. Our staff
could then publish a mini-menu for the event. With this option,
guests would be able to choose the main course they wanted that
evening. The pricing for this option would be as in the a la carte
menu.
The host could work from one of our banquet menus. In this case
the host would pre-set the entire dinner for the guests, or could
pre-set the courses and then ask the guests to RSVP. The host would
then need to keep track of which guests are having which course.
A count must be provided to the Briarhurst Manor and the host would
need to set up color-coded place cards or name cards for each guest.
For groups of more than 35 persons:
The host could work from one of our banquet menus. In this case
the host would pre-set the entire dinner for the guests, or could
pre-set the courses and then ask the guests to RSVP. The host would
then need to keep track of which guests are having which course.
A count must be provided to the Briarhurst Manor and the host would
need to set up color-coded place cards or name cards for each guest.
Our Special Dinner Menus are reasonably priced. Call for pricing
(tax and tip are not included.)
As the host, you could offer the guests a buffet.
A signed contract and a 40% of estimated final bill as a non-refundable
deposit will lock-in the date, location, and time. The deposit will
be applied directly to the final bill. We ask that the final bill
be paid by the conclusion of the event. Additional advanced payment
plans are available.
All food and beverage is subject to a taxable 22% service charge
and 8.8% sales tax.

Rental cost will be quoted for
the individual event. A rental piano available from
the Briarhurst for $150.00 per event. |

Classroom, theater, conference,
U-shaped, hollow square, or other setup styles are available
depending on the room and group size. |
Sound System |
A sound system is included with
a corded microphone, at no charge. A portable microphone
system is available at nominal charge. |
Audio Visual |
A/V may be arranged through Davis
Audio Visual. |
Fax and Copy
Service |
Copies and facsimiles are available
through our business office for a nominal fee. |
Storage |
No storage is available. |
Package Delivery |
We will be happy to receive packages,
given advance notice. |
No coats and ties are required.
