2. 19th ANNUAL
TASTE OF THE SPRINGS
Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado
is proud to announce
the Taste of the Springs
May 6th, 3p-6p, Sheraton Colorado Springs Grand
Ballroom. For the 19th year, proceeds raised from
this event will assist thousands of families to put food on their
tables.
Tickets are $65 per person ($45 is tax deductible).
Limited seating is available, and this intimate event will sell

The 2007
Taste of the Springs Winemaker's dinner will be on
May 5, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. Wines provided through Baum Wine
Imports; the 7-course dinner will be hosted by Chef Jeff Knight
at the Craftwood Inn. Tickets are $85 per person and seating
is limited.

3. ENJOY A WINE CLASS AT
TASTES WINE BAR & BISTRO
If you are like me and don’t know much about wine,
here’s a great idea to learn you the ABC’s of wine.
Tastes Wine Bar & Bistro is offering
a series of wine classes. On April 22nd from 6-8pm
you can learn about the six major red varietals. The cost
is $35 per person. Or on April 23rd they are hosting
an introduction to wine that costs $30 per person. If white
wine is your favorite then on April 24th, they are featuring
the four major white varietals. The cost for this class is
$35 per person. The space is limited to 12 for each class,
so call 303-548-0209 to reserve your space.

ESTATE IS HOSTING “A TASTE OF COLORADO”
On
Saturday, April 28th join Briarhurst
Manor Estate for a culinary adventure in food and wine pairing.
Their “taste of
Colorado” will feature some of
Colorado’s
finest cuisine and wine makers along with Colorado Premium Vodka
and Bristol Brewery. The event starts at 6:30pm with hors
d’oeuvres and then a seven course dinner. The cost is $90
per person. Reservations are recommended so call 719-685-1864.
